Islamabad, November 16, 2023 : Utility Stores Corporation establishes a monthly minimum salary of Rs32,000 for daily wage workers on Thursday.
As per a notification, the minimum salary for daily wage workers has been set at Rs32,000, effective from July 2023. The notification also outlines the clearance of pending dues in four equal monthly installments.
The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has recently raised prices for several items nationwide. As per an official notification, the government has approved increases in prices for branded tea, milk, tea whitener, spices, honey, and other items. Notably, the price for 90 grams of branded tea has surged by Rs400, shifting the official prices from Rs905 to Rs1305.
