Karachi, November 29, 2023 :On Wednesday, the Pakistani rupee sustained its recovery against the US dollar in the interbank market.
As per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Pakistani rupee appreciated by Re0.12, concluding at Rs285.39 in the interbank market.
Forex dealers reported the local currency trading at Rs286.50 in the open market. In comparison, on Friday, the rupee had closed at 285.52 against the US dollar.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark index extended its bullish trend on Wednesday, surpassing the 61,000 mark to reach a record high. At 10:20 am, the KSE-100 index rose by 601 points, reaching 61,331 from the previous close of 60,730.
The day witnessed a total of 779,671,060 shares, valued at Rs 26.138 billion, being traded, compared to the previous day’s 657,580,760 shares valued at Rs 20.272 billion.
