Karachi, December 06, 2023 : Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab declares a citywide emergency on hydrants in response to the Arshi Shopping Mall fire near Ayesha Manzil in Karachi.
Murtaza Wahab reported that firefighting personnel are actively working to bring the fire under control. Tenders from hydrants across the city have been received due to the severe intensity of the fire.
The mayor mentioned that actions have been initiated for the fire audit of commercial buildings in the city, and a committee consisting of KMC officials has been established.
