Karachi, December 08, 2023 : Karachi residents faced the winter season’s chill as temperatures plummeted to 13.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday night, marking the coldest night so far, according to the Met Office.

Mithi recorded the lowest temperature in Sindh at 6.5°C, trailed by Mohenjo Daro at 7°C, Sukkur at 8°C, and Shaheed Benazirabad district at 9.5°C.

The PDM predicts a maximum temperature of 28 to 30 degrees Celsius in the city. The Met department forecasts a drop to 12°C in the metropolis on Saturday-Sunday night.

Anticipate predominantly cold and dry conditions across most of the country, with upper districts experiencing partly cloudy weather in the next twelve hours.

This morning’s recorded temperatures in major cities are as follows:

  • – Lahore: 11°C
  • – Quetta: 1°C
  • – Gilgit: -3°C
  • – Murree: 4°C
  • – Muzaffarabad: 6°C
