Karachi, December 20, 2023 : The price of gold experienced an upward trend on Wednesday, with the per tola price of 24-karat gold surging in both the global and local markets.
Details indicate a rise of Rs 900 per tola in the price of 24-karat gold in the country. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association disclosed that following this increase, the per tola price of gold reached Rs 218,500.

The Jewelers Association mentioned that the price of 10 grams of gold also saw an increase of Rs 771, reaching Rs 187,328.
Officials attributed the rise in the price of gold to a $13 increase, reaching $2060 per ounce in the global market.
Additionally, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs 20, settling at Rs 2650.
