Karachi, January 09, 2024: TikTok marked the end of the year with an immersive spectacle event – Year on TikTok 2023 in Lahore. The event marked a celebration of community, creativity, and self-expression where TikTok celebrated its Pakistani creator community, top videos and trends of the year with the end of year Creator Awards and exciting performances.
TikTok is a platform for creators to share their talents, creativity, and interests with their community and help create cultural movements and raise awareness around societal issues. With TikTok Creator Awards, the platform celebrated some of the most inspiring creators and announced winners were across 10 categories, including entertainment, lifestyle and sports, along with Top Creator of the year award. The creators bagged awards for their ability to engage the audiences and create cultural movements that started on TikTok and left the world amazed.
Proving itself as the home for entertainment, the #YearOnTikTok entertained the guests with top-notch performances by content creators Raamis Ali and Ali Aftab Saeed – who gained widespread recognition for their talent with the power of TikTok. The music icon of Pakistan Asim Azhar, whose tracks became immensely popular on TikTok, set the stage on blaze with his mesmerizing performance for the magical grand finale.
