Islamabad, January 31, 2024 : The interim government has implemented a significant increase in petrol prices by Rs13.55 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2.15 per liter.
As per a notification from the finance ministry, the price of petrol has surged by Rs 13.55 per liter, and High-Speed Diesel has seen an increase of Rs 2.75 per liter.
The notification further states that starting February 01, petrol will be priced at Rs 272.89 per liter following the mentioned hike of Rs 13.55.

Earlier this month, there was a Rs8 per liter reduction in petrol prices, maintaining the diesel price at Rs273.21 per liter for the subsequent two weeks.
As per a finance ministry notification, starting January 16, petrol will be priced at Rs259.34 per liter after the mentioned Rs8 decrease. However, the diesel rate remains unchanged at Rs276.21 per liter. No adjustments were specified for the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene oil.
