Shooters were paid to threaten Salman, not kill him: Mumbai Crime Branch

The Indian police officials claimed to have arrested the two men allegedly involved in the gunfire at Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan’s apartment.

The Indian police detained the two individuals, named Vicky Gupta aged 24, and Sagar Pal aged 21, four days after the incident.

The sources within the Indian police revealed that Vicky and Sagar were allegedly offered Rs four lacs to carry out the shooting at Salman Khan’s apartment, with Rs 1 lac paid to the culprits.

The Mumbai Crime Branch officials claimed that the intended objective of the arrested suspects was not to carry out murder but to cause only “terror”.

Meanwhile, the police officers were busy recording the statements of both the families of the arrested individuals.

After the initial investigation, the police revealed that Vicky was allegedly riding the motorcycle as Sagar opened fire at Salman Khan’s residence.
