'unfair' taxes

According to reports, the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association is proceeding with its strike scheduled for July 5th after unsuccessful talks with the government.

Following a meeting with government officials, the dealers announced the strike, leading to the closure of petrol pumps nationwide starting from 6 am on July 5th.

A central leader of the association highlighted that the government’s imposition of various ‘unfair’ taxes has significantly burdened the petrol pump business.
