Karachi, July 11, 2024: Following the hike in the international market, the local market of Pakistan also witnessed a surge in gold prices.
According to rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1200, reaching Rs246,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose to Rs211,591 after a Rs1029 increase.
Internationally, the price of the precious yellow metal was fixed at $2,382 per ounce (with a $20 premium) following a $14 increase throughout the day.
Meanwhile, silver rates held steady at Rs2,900 per tola.
