Karachi, July 18, 2024: A disturbing incident occurred when an individual dressed in a Rangers uniform robbed a shopkeeper at gunpoint in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13-D area on Thursday.
Footage of the robbery went viral on social media, showing the suspect, wearing the uniform of a law enforcement agency, entering a pakwan center and brandishing a pistol. He then took the shopkeeper outside with him.
According to a police spokesperson, individuals disguised in law enforcement uniforms carried out the robbery, stealing a mobile phone and cash from a citizen at gunpoint.
The police have taken action by contacting the victim to gather more information. The spokesperson for East Police mentioned that the SP Gulshan is personally overseeing the case to ensure that the perpetrators are apprehended and brought to justice.
