North American Association for South Asian Affairs (NAASAA) recently held an event in Karachi, aimed at facilitating Pakistani talent to showcase their skills worldwide.
Speaking at the occasion, President NAASAA Dr Sarah Alam said that Pakistani scholars need a platform that helps them exhibit their academic talent worldwide, mainly for presenting their research papers, hence, our forum is working to guide Pakistanis.
She informed the audience that NAASAA will facilitate Pakistanis’ participation in upcoming conferences being held in the USA, Canada, and European countries next year.
Skilled Pakistanis are facing multiple challenges in foreign countries after immigration as Pakistanis along with citizens of other South Asian states are not treated equally by the host countries with regards to facilitations and services.
Pakistanis are highly talented, hardworking, and capable of proving their mettle provided that they are given proper guidance. We are working to promote Pakistani talent in different fields, Dr Sarah added.
Immigration Consultant Rehan Siddiqui also spoke on the occasion.
