Karachi: 30 September 2024, The prices of Petroleum Products have continued to fluctuate in the international market in the last fortnight. Domestic consumer prices are required to be adjusted accordingly. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) works out the consumer prices for the upcoming fortnight, based on international prices and exchange rate variations.
However, OGRA has accordingly, worked out prices of petroleum products and has proposed consumer prices for the next fortnight (Annex-I). The prices have been discussed with OGRA & Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), and following recommendation is submitted for consideration of the Prime Minister.
Whereas as the existing price of High Speed Diesel was 249.69 that decreases to -3.40 so the proposed price is 249.29, MS (Petrol) was 249.10 that decreases to -2.07 so the proposed price is 247.03, Kerosene was 158.47 that decreases -3.57 so the new price is 154.90, and Light Diesel Oil was 141.93 that decreases to -1.03 so the new price is now 140.90.
The new prices will be applied from 01 October 2024.
