LAHORE: Nestlé Pakistan has announced its sales figures for the nine months ending September 30, 2024, reporting PKR 149.2 billion. This marks a decline of 1.3% compared to the same period last year.
The decrease in growth is largely attributed to new taxes introduced in the Finance Act, which led to price increases that ultimately reduced consumer demand. Furthermore, the company faced challenges from rising commodity and energy prices, alongside increased investments in brand development, which impacted operating profits.
These results were shared following a meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors at its Head Office. Looking ahead, Nestlé Pakistan is adopting a cautious approach for the remainder of the year, prioritizing optimization across its value chain to navigate the current economic landscape.
