KARACHI, December 10th 2024: In a momentous celebration of social change and youth empowerment, an award-winning not-for-profit organization, Youth Impact, hosted its inaugural Youth Excellence Awards in Karachi. The prestigious ceremony recognized individuals and organizations leading the charge in empowering youth, fostering growth, and strengthening communities across Pakistan. The awards highlighted efforts that promote innovation and contribute to building a brighter, more inclusive future for the nation.
Founded 13 years ago, Youth Impact has made a profound impact on over 128,000 young lives through its unique initiatives, including experiential learning programs, outdoor classrooms, and social action projects. These efforts have developed purpose-driven, character-oriented youth leaders globally. Recognized institutions like the Higher Education Commission (HEC) have benefited from Youth Impact’s transformative programs.
The Youth Excellence Awards 2024 reflect the mission of Youth Impact by offering a platform to honor those who lead with purpose, responsibility, and social change within their communities. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, the founder of Indus Hospital, graced the event as the Patron-in-Chief, lending his support to the recognition of outstanding contributions to society.
The awards acknowledged several key organizations making significant strides in various sectors. Al Khidmat, Indus Hospital, The Citizens Foundation, Special Olympics Pakistan, and Green Crescent Trust were celebrated for their dedicated work in healthcare, education, and community welfare. Institutions like Kiran Foundation, Generations School, NUST, IBA, and IoBM were honored for their role in shaping the future of education and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
In the corporate sector, companies like Toyota Indus Motors, Hubco, Agriauto, Multinet, FFC, and Careem were recognized for their innovative and sustainable business practices that support societal growth. Furthermore, organizations such as Orange Tree Foundation and Akhuwat were commended for their impactful initiatives that uplift underserved communities through social and economic empowerment.

In addition to the awards ceremony, Youth Impact unveiled the launch of Markaz – a state-of-the-art outdoor leadership center to be located in the lower Himalayas. This center will serve as a hub for the scalable and sustainable development of youth leadership, further advancing Youth Impact’s mission to equip young people with the skills and vision to become change agents in their communities.
