KARACHI, December 20, 2024: Zindigi, in partnership with PostEx, has introduced a groundbreaking solution to streamline cash-on-delivery (COD) payments in Pakistan’s e-commerce sector. Leveraging the RAAST-powered Dynamic QR feature, delivery riders can now generate QR codes via the PostEx application, enabling secure and instant payments through multiple banking apps.
With 90% of e-commerce transactions in Pakistan relying on COD, the traditional cash-based system has long posed challenges, including inefficiencies, theft risks, and logistical complications. This innovative payment method transforms COD into a cashless process, offering unmatched convenience for customers, reducing operational burdens for merchants, and enhancing efficiency for logistics providers.
Initially launched as a pilot in six major cities, the project aims to build trust in digital payments, decrease dependency on cash, and set the foundation for a cashless economy.
The collaboration introduces two transformative initiatives:
- Wallet Integration – Seamlessly integrates digital wallets for faster, safer transactions.
- Dynamic QR (Digitized COD) – Transforms the COD experience by digitizing cash payments at the delivery point.
Atif Ishaque, Chief Business Officer at Zindigi, highlighted, “This partnership reflects our commitment to leveraging technology for better financial interactions. By offering secure, cashless payment options, we’re not just simplifying transactions but also driving financial inclusion and digital transformation in Pakistan.”
Jawad Mirza, CEO of Logistics at PostEx, added, “Integrating QR payments into last-mile delivery is a game-changer. With Zindigi’s support, we’re empowering riders, accelerating merchant settlements, and giving customers seamless payment options. This initiative propels the logistics sector toward a tech-enabled future.”
The partnership underscores Zindigi and PostEx’s shared vision of fostering a financially inclusive, technology-driven ecosystem that benefits businesses and consumers alike.
