KARACHI, December 24 2024: Pakistan is all set to mark a milestone at Heimtextil 2025, the premier international trade fair for interior textiles and design, scheduled from January 14th to 17th in Frankfurt. With a record-breaking delegation of over 270 exhibitors, Pakistan is poised to solidify its status as a global textile powerhouse. This participation represents the largest Pakistani delegation in the event’s history, underscoring the country’s growing prominence in the industry.
Notably, the Pakistani contingent has expanded by 10% this year, climbing to 4th place among the top participating countries, trailing only China, India, and Turkey. The relocation of Pakistani exhibitors to the newly allocated halls 8 and 9 has played a pivotal role in accommodating this growth, offering exhibitors larger and more premium spaces to showcase their exceptional products.
Enhanced Visibility and Opportunities
The introduction of a new carpet hall at the event provides a unique opportunity for Pakistan to display its intricate craftsmanship and innovative carpet designs alongside industry leaders from Belgium, Turkey, and India. This move is expected to further enhance Pakistan’s influence in the global textile market.
Facilitating Participation for Success
To streamline the participation process, Messe Frankfurt’s Pakistan sales partner, in collaboration with the German Embassy in Islamabad and the German Consulate in Karachi, secured 400 exclusive visa appointments for Pakistani participants. This initiative ensures hassle-free logistics, enabling exhibitors to focus on delivering impactful presentations.
Kaleem Baig, General Manager, and Sumaira Liaquat, Business Development Manager at Messe Frankfurt Pakistan, shared, “Shifting to halls 8 and 9 allowed us to accommodate long-standing waitlisted exhibitors. These spaces offer higher ceilings and more expansive booth layouts, enabling participants to present their products more effectively.”
Pakistan’s Growing Textile Footprint
With over 1,000 visitors and 270 exhibitors supported by 1,200 staff members, Heimtextil 2025 will see over 2,200 Pakistani professionals converging in Frankfurt. This strong presence reflects the robust global demand for Pakistani textiles, further cementing the country’s reputation for quality and innovation in the industry.
Adding to the excitement, Ms. Margit Herberth, Director of Heimtextil, will personally lead exclusive tours of halls 8 and 9, welcoming the Pakistani delegation and highlighting the significance of their participation.

As Pakistan takes center stage at Heimtextil 2025, this landmark participation showcases the nation’s textile prowess while fostering opportunities for further growth and collaboration in the global market.
