Apple unveiled the iPhone 16, introducing several exciting updates and new color options. The iPhone 16 is available in five vibrant colors: black, white, pink, green, and light blue. Both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come with display sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.
The iPhone 16 features several new elements including the Action button and a new camera control button. It is powered by the new A18 chip, which enhances overall performance.
A notable addition is Apple Intelligence, designed to offer summarized notifications and messages, and personalize user interactions. This includes the ability to create custom emojis.
Apple Intelligence will be available in localized English from December in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, with plans to expand to other languages including Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish. The feature will enter beta next month.
The iPhone 16 introduces “Visual Intelligence” through its new camera control button, which supports macro photography and spatial photos and videos. The upgraded camera system includes a 48MP Wide lens, 12MP Ultra Wide lens, and a True Depth camera with autofocus.
New features such as macro photography, spatial video capture, and next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control are now available. The redesigned Photos app includes natural language search and improved video recording options.
The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, and supports Wi-Fi 6E. It comes with a 3,561 mAh battery and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, starting at approximately $799. The iPhone 16 Plus starts at $899.
