In a simple and impressive ceremony held at FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad, the FPCCI Chief while inaugurating the ceremony highlighted the importance of the drive and informed that Pakistan is among the countries where forest areas had been severely
Imran Ismail, Governor Sindh, Mr. Azam Khan Swati, Minister for Parliamentary affairs and Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting also graced the ceremony with their august presence and underscored the need to preserve and improve the environment through forestation.
The President of FPCCI hoped that the launching of 100 million campaign drive would lead the country in revival forestry and control of air pollution; weather; wildlife; forestation; watershed management and soil conservation to combat the negative impacts of climate change.
The ceremony, inter-alia, was also attended by Mr. S.M.
