Amid the heavy fighting and bombardment, as many as 800 Israelis and approximately 500 Palestinians have been killed in the wake of the largest attack by the Palestinian armed group Hamas against Israel in decades.
The Defence Minister of Israel, Yoav Gallant, on Monday, stated that the authorities have to impose a total blockade on the Gaza Strip, cutting power, food and fuel supplies as part of ‘a complete siege’ on the Hamas-run territory.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health confirmed the death of at least 510 Palestinians and 2,751 had been wounded after the Israel air raids on the territory since Saturday, following the Hamas aggressive attack on Israel.
According to the reports, the number of people killed in Israel has reached nearly 800, while more than 2,200 have been wounded.
The Israeli military claimed to hit more than 1,000 targets in Gaza.
Amid the intense bombardment, the United Nations said that more than 123,000 Palestinians in Gaza had been displaced.
