Karachi, November 04, 2023 : Early on Saturday morning, a pink bus struck a rikshaw in Karachi, resulting in at least one death and five injuries.

Details indicate that a three-wheeler rickshaw was struck by a pink bus, the first women-only bus service in Pakistan’s Sindh province, in an accident that was reported from North Karachi Saleem Center.

Danish, one of the six injured rickshaw passengers, perished in the tragic accident, according to police reports.

Following the report of the incident to the local police, the law enforcement officers showed up on the scene and seized both vehicles.

In the meantime, a case about the incident was filed at the New Karachi police station based on the complaint made by Zahid, the rickshaw driver.

At least 29 people, including women and children, were hurt last month when a bus carrying wedding guests in Swat’s Kabal Kotlai skidded off the road on Thursday.

The bus had an accident while traveling from Kabal to Ali Garam, according to rescue sources.

Rescue crews were alerted and raced to the scene to take the injured to Kabal Civil Hospital.

Later, the critically injured victims were moved to Saidu Sharif Central Hospital. The event is being looked into by the police
