Karachi, November 13, 2023 : A tragic incident of targeted killing occurred in Karachi’s Orangi Town, where two perpetrators shot and killed a Naat Khuwan.

In the Pakistan Bazar area of Orangi Town, the Naat Khuwan and Mauzin of a local mosque, Raheem Ullah, was fatally shot, according to reports. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West confirmed the incident as a targeted killing, stating that two assailants on a motorcycle approached the victim and fired three shots.

Following the shooting, the victim’s mobile phone and other valuables were recovered. Additionally, the forensic team collected 9mm bullet shells from the scene, and the body was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

At Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the family of the deceased Rahimullah refuted allegations of any enmity. In a previous incident in July, CCTV footage revealed the alleged target killing of the brother and nephew of Sindh MPA Aslam Abro, showing two unidentified individuals trailing their vehicle.

As per the information provided, the investigative authorities secured CCTV footage related to the purported target killing. Following a review of the footage, authorities asserted that they are initially suspecting the involvement of individuals on a motorcycle and in a car.

The investigative team highlighted that the footage revealed two individuals on a motorcycle appearing suspiciously close to the vehicle as it left the residence. Simultaneously, a car was observed in the footage trailing the vehicle in a suspicious manner.
