Karachi, December 09, 2023 : On Saturday morning, Karachi police discovered the body of a young man in Korangi believed to be a ‘police informer.’
Police authorities have verified that the victim, 24-year-old Ibrahim Haidri, was indeed a police informer. He was fatally shot in the head with three bullets.
As per the police statement, Ibrahim, a resident of Lashari Para in Karachi, was abducted by armed assailants in plain clothes around 3 am last night. His lifeless body was later found in the Korangi area, indicating a tragic end to the incident.
“My brother, Ibrahim, was taken by four armed individuals in plain clothes last night at 3 am, and we learned about his killing in the morning,” revealed the victim’s brother.
“Ibrahim’s wife did not inform us or the police about his abduction. Instead, she arrived at our house in the morning, disclosing Ibrahim’s murder, and now she is missing,” added the deceased person’s brother.
“Two 30-bore bullet shells were discovered at the crime scene,” announced the police officials.
While indicating a potential personal vendetta, the police disclosed that the incident is under investigation, and efforts are underway to apprehend the individuals responsible for the murder.
