Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a seven-day shutdown of its plant due to low inventory and a shortage of components.
In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday, the company stated, “Due to current low inventory levels of manufactured vehicles and a shortage of parts and components caused by supply chain challenges, the company has decided to close its production plant from July 15, 2024, to July 22, 2024 (both days inclusive).”
Earlier, Indus Motor Company Limited had shut down its production plant from March 6 to March 11, 2024.
