KARACHI, December 19, 2024: Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has officially unveiled its first-ever experiential Travel Store in Karachi, marking a significant expansion into the West Asia region. The store, located in the prestigious Sky Tower on Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue in Clifton, is the airline’s first foray into experiential retail in this region, with the 183-square-meter space designed to offer immersive, technology-driven experiences and exceptional customer service.

The store was inaugurated by Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations in West Asia and the Indian Ocean, in the presence of His Excellency Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, and His Excellency Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, Consul General of the UAE in Karachi. The event also saw the attendance of Mohammed Al Nahari Alhashmi, Emirates’ VP for Pakistan, and other senior team members, along with media representatives.

In his speech, Essa Sulaiman Ahmad highlighted the significance of the launch, emphasizing that the Emirates Travel Store is a space where customers can discover the airline’s world-class products and services. “We are proud to bring this innovative retail concept to Karachi. It’s a place where travellers can get a unique insight into the Emirates experience and explore the vast array of destinations we offer,” said Ahmad. “This launch reflects our ongoing commitment to Pakistan, a key market for Emirates since 1985, and the first Emirates Travel Store in West Asia is a testament to the strong relationship we have with this vibrant city.”

Personalized Travel Experiences

The Emirates Travel Store in Karachi provides customers with an opportunity to learn about the latest inflight products available on Emirates aircraft, as well as to explore the airline’s extensive network of destinations. Trained staff are on hand to assist with booking flights, managing travel preferences, and providing tailored travel advice to ensure customers’ journeys are seamless.

The store features several unique elements designed to enhance the travel experience. These include self-service kiosks, a selfie mirror with virtual backdrops of popular Emirates destinations, and a curated selection of Emirates-branded merchandise and travel accessories. Additionally, the store offers a dedicated customer service area for flight reservations, ticketing for Emirates Holidays, and assistance with the Skywards loyalty program.
