ABHI Microfinance Bank has launched DIY (Do It Yourself) Banking, a new self-service initiative aimed at transforming its branch network and providing customers with greater convenience, speed and control over everyday banking.
The new initiative introduces a connected self-service ecosystem featuring ABHI ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs), Self-Service Kiosks and Instant Card Printing facilities.
Through DIY Banking, customers can independently access supported banking services without relying entirely on traditional counter-based transactions. The initiative is designed to make routine banking activities simpler, faster and more convenient.
The new ecosystem includes ATMs for cash withdrawals and supported banking services, CDMs for quick and convenient cash deposits, and self-service kiosks that allow customers to access and complete selected banking services independently.
A key feature of the initiative is Instant Card Printing, which enables customers to receive their bank cards immediately. ABHI Microfinance Bank describes the facility as a first-of-its-kind offering in the industry.
The launch marks the beginning of a broader transformation of ABHI Microfinance Bank’s branch network, combining digital technology, self-service infrastructure and traditional banking facilities to create a more customer-focused banking experience.
The bank said the initiative goes beyond installing new machines at branches and represents a broader effort to rethink how customers interact with banking services. The new model gives customers greater choice, flexibility and control over their banking experience.
As Pakistan’s first digital microfinance bank, ABHI Microfinance Bank said it remains focused on expanding digital capabilities and bringing modern banking services closer to customers across its growing branch network.
With DIY Banking, ABHI aims to shift everyday banking from a primarily counter-based model towards a more flexible, self-service experience.
