KARACHI, June 30, 2026: Emirates has won the Best Airline Worldwide title at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East (BTME) Awards for the 13th consecutive year. The airline also secured Best First Class and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East for its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport.

The BTME Awards rank among the region’s most prestigious travel industry honors. Business Traveller Middle East readers select the winners through nominations and voting. Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim received the awards on behalf of the airline.

The awards reflect Emirates’ continued investment in customer experience. The airline is refurbishing 219 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft while expanding its fleet with new Airbus A350s. As a result, passengers now enjoy upgraded cabins and modern technology on flights serving more than 70 destinations across its global network of nearly 140 cities.

Meanwhile, Emirates continues to enhance its premium travel experience. Its First Class features private suites, dine-on-demand service, unlimited caviar, Dom Pérignon champagne, Bulgari amenity kits, Byredo skincare products, Shower Spa, and the iconic Onboard Lounge on the A380. In addition, First and Business Class passengers benefit from chauffeur-drive services in nearly 90 destinations, priority airport services, and access to Emirates lounges in more than 30 cities worldwide.

Furthermore, Emirates’ First Class Lounges at Dubai International Airport offer premium dining, complimentary spa treatments, luxury shopping, fine wines, and direct boarding from selected gates, helping the airline secure the Best Airport Lounge award.

The airline also continues to expand its technology and network. So far, Emirates has equipped 36 aircraft with Starlink high-speed internet, allowing passengers to stream content, work, make calls, and browse throughout their journey. Additionally, the airline recently introduced Comprehensive Travel Cover insurance and will launch a daily Dubai-Helsinki service in October, becoming the only airline to offer a year-round direct connection between the UAE and Finland.
