Islamabad, September 23, 2026: DIB Pakistan has opened a new branch at New Metro City, Sarai Alamgir, as part of its ongoing expansion across the country.
The new branch has received a strong response from leading business and community figures in Sarai Alamgir. Its opening also marks another step in DIB Pakistan’s plan to expand its physical presence in growing commercial areas.
The bank said the expansion will complement its digital banking services. It will also bring international banking services closer to customers in different parts of Pakistan.
Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz, CEO of DIB Pakistan, inaugurated the branch. Business leaders, community representatives and other key stakeholders from Sarai Alamgir and nearby areas attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Gulfaraz said DIB Pakistan is expanding at a strong pace. He added that the bank plans to open another 75 branches during 2026.
“Our objective is to establish a powerful, comprehensive presence across every region of Pakistan while delivering a world-class international banking experience to our valued customers,” he said.
DIB Pakistan’s management team also met members of the local business community. The discussions focused on the region’s changing banking needs.
These needs include company accounts, remittance accounts and foreign currency deposits. Local customers welcomed the new branch and said it could support business activity and economic growth in the area.
The bank said it will continue investing in its branch network, technology and service quality. Through these efforts, DIB Pakistan aims to expand customer access and support economic activity in urban and regional markets.
