Emirates Offers More Flexible Travel Options and Savings for Customers

KARACHI, August 12, 2026: Emirates has introduced several measures to give customers greater flexibility when planning their journeys. The airline said the changes offer more options for passengers, from booking and date changes to refunds, travel disruptions and loyalty benefits.

From August 10, 2026, passengers travelling to Dubai can change their travel dates unlimited times without a fee across eligible fare types. The offer covers Saver, Special and Flex fares in Economy and Business Class.

Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy, Business Flex Plus and First Class fares will continue to offer full flexibility.

Emirates has also reduced refund charges for flights to Dubai. Economy Saver fares now carry a refund fee of US$50, while Economy Flex fares have a US$25 fee. In Business Class, the refund fee is US$50 for Special and Saver fares and US$25 for Flex fares.

The airline said the combination of lower refund fees and unlimited free date changes will allow passengers to adjust their travel plans with fewer financial penalties.

Passengers travelling anywhere across the Emirates network can also receive one free date change on tickets booked from April 2, 2026. This includes journeys that connect through Dubai.

Customers can also hold their fare for 24 hours without charge while finalising their travel plans.

Emirates said it will provide direct accommodation support to customers affected by flight disruptions. If onward connections on other airlines are affected, or Emirates services become unavailable, the airline will rebook passengers to their final destination at no additional cost. This also applies to cancellations caused by airspace disruptions.

Emirates Skywards members can also benefit from additional savings and greater flexibility until August 31, 2026.

Members need 20% fewer Tier Miles to reach Silver, Gold and Platinum status. They can also earn 20% bonus Tier Miles on Emirates and flydubai flights.

In addition, members can receive greater value through Cash+Miles. The special rate is 2,000 Miles for US$30, compared with the usual US$15, when using Miles for Emirates or flydubai flights, excess baggage, lounge access and seat selection.

The airline said these measures are designed to give customers greater choice, reduce the cost of changing travel plans and provide additional support when unexpected disruptions occur.
