Karachi, July 28, 2026: Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, through its flagship social investment programme Tameer, partnered with NED University of Engineering & Technology to sponsor the regional round of the World Startup Championship – SEE Pakistan 2026.
The World Startup Championship is an annual international entrepreneurship competition and exhibition that helps students and young innovators transform their ideas into successful businesses.
The regional event brought together more than 300 student-led startups from universities across Sindh. Participants pitched their business ideas, connected with industry leaders, received expert feedback, and competed for a place in the national round.
Moreover, the partnership reflects Wafi Energy Pakistan’s commitment to investing in youth and supporting innovative ideas with long-term economic potential. The company believes that stronger collaboration between academia, industry, and startups can help turn promising ideas into sustainable businesses.
