KARACHI Aug 15,2026: SI Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China-based Jovision Technology Co., Ltd. The partnership aims to strengthen Safe City projects and maritime security across Pakistan.
Jovision Technology, based in Jinan, China, is a global provider of intelligent video surveillance solutions. Under the agreement, SI Global Solutions will become Jovision’s exclusive partner in Pakistan for AI-powered surveillance projects.
The partnership will introduce advanced CCTV systems, cloud-based video analytics and full-color night vision. It will also support integrated command-and-control platforms. These technologies can help improve public safety, prevent crime and strengthen city management.
The collaboration will also cover Pakistan’s maritime sector. SI Global Solutions has procured advanced polyurethane buoys from China for use at Pakistani ports. According to the company, it is the first Pakistani firm to introduce polyurethane buoys in the country.
The buoys require less maintenance and offer a longer service life. They also provide better resistance to harsh marine and weather conditions.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Safe City and maritime experts from SI Global Solutions recently visited China. Commander (Retd.) Liaquat Ali PN led the delegation.
During the visit, the team held technical meetings and reviewed product demonstrations. The discussions also helped advance cooperation with Jovision and the sourcing of IALA-compliant marine equipment for Pakistani ports and harbours.
Dr. Noman Ahmed Said, CEO of SI Global Solutions, said the company was pleased to partner with Jovision and Sunhelm.
He said the partnership reflects the company’s focus on quality, innovation and international standards. He added that SI Global Solutions aims to help improve the safety of Pakistan’s cities and maritime infrastructure through cooperation with its Chinese partners.
