LAHORE, October 6, 2026: Fatima Fertiliser Company Limited has secured first position in the Human Rights category at the United Nations Global Compact Network Pakistan (UN GCNP) Sustainability Awards 2026.
The award recognises the company’s people-centred approach to sustainability and its efforts to promote responsible business practices, inclusion and positive social impact for employees, farmers and communities.
Fatima Fertilizer formally strengthened its sustainability strategy in November 2024 by becoming the first private-sector organisation in Pakistan to adopt the UNDP SDG Impact Framework. The company’s sustainability initiatives focus on farmer livelihoods, food security, employee wellbeing, women’s empowerment, education and skills development. They also cover environmental protection, climate action, resource efficiency, digital inclusion and responsible agricultural practices.
“Being recognised in the Human Rights category is a meaningful affirmation of our people-centred approach to sustainability,” said Rabel Sadozai, Director Marketing and Sales, Fatima Fertiliser.
She added that the company remains committed to creating lasting value for its employees, farmers and communities while promoting responsible business practices and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
