Pakistan condemns Israeli storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Islamabad, August 4, 2025: Pakistan strongly condemned the recent storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli ministers, settler groups, and Israeli police.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called this act a disrespect to one of Islam’s holiest sites and a violation of international law.

He said these provocative actions by Israel increase tensions in Palestine and the wider region, risking more instability and conflict.

The prime minister urged for an immediate ceasefire, an end to aggression, and the restart of peace talks to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, following international law and UN resolutions.
