Movement Launches Largest Streetwear Collection Inspired by Lyari

KARACHI, Aug. 1,2026: Pakistani streetwear brand Movement has unveiled LYARI, its largest collection to date, featuring 28 pieces and an original music anthem that celebrates the neighborhood’s football culture, rap scene, and street art.

The collection will launch on July 31, 2026, alongside an original anthem produced by Qasim Azhar. The track features rapper Eva B and several artists from Lyari.

Movement said the release marks the brand’s biggest drop in its three-year history. More importantly, it is the first collection the company developed entirely within a single community rather than simply drawing inspiration from it.

Instead of following fashion trends, the brand worked directly with Lyari’s artists, musicians, footballers, and creatives. As a result, the collection reflects the area’s culture, language, and identity.

The designs incorporate local phrases such as “Lyari Dil Hai Jani” and feature hand-drawn graphics, lettering, and colors inspired by the neighborhood’s streets and murals.

Meanwhile, the accompanying anthem captures Lyari’s everyday voice. Qasim Azhar produced the track with Eva B and local MCs who wrote and performed it using the neighborhood’s slang, rhythm, and style. The brand said it made no changes to make the music more accessible to outside audiences.

In addition, Movement released the anthem on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other major streaming platforms. The accompanying music video was filmed entirely in Lyari and features local residents instead of professional actors.

The 28-piece collection aims to blend local identity with global appeal. Movement said it designed every item to feel equally at home on the streets of Lyari and in international fashion markets without altering its original character.

With LYARI, the brand continues its strategy of building collections around authentic cultural stories while showcasing Pakistan’s creative talent to a wider audience.
