KARACHI, June 1, 2026: FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL), a leading dairy company, observed World Milk Day with schoolchildren across multiple cities in Pakistan as part of its ongoing “Nourish Pakistan” initiative.
FCEPL employees visited schools including RAAST School in Karachi, along with community schools in Sahiwal and Sukkur, where they conducted awareness sessions highlighting the long-term health benefits of regular milk consumption among school-going children.
The company said such awareness efforts are particularly important in Pakistan, where nearly 10 million children suffer from stunting and around 40 percent of children under the age of five face acute malnourishment, conditions that impact both physical and cognitive development. According to FCEPL, a single glass of milk can provide up to seven of the 12 essential daily nutrients, supporting efforts to address malnutrition.
“Our future generations’ wellbeing relies heavily on a quality diet, and safe milk is the cornerstone of this discussion,” said Kashan Hasan, Managing Director and CEO of FCEPL. He added that an informed society understands the importance of safe and quality milk for a healthier future.
Marketing Director Sarah Sadiq said the company remains committed to ensuring access to safe and hygienic milk, stating that every product is designed to preserve purity and nutrition while expanding accessibility across communities.
As part of the initiative, FCEPL also conducted milk distribution drives in schools across Punjab in collaboration with the Pakistan Dairy Association, aiming to reach a larger number of students nationwide.
FCEPL, part of FrieslandCampina, continues to position itself as a key player in Pakistan’s dairy sector with a focus on nutrition, safety, and affordability
