KARACHI, August 19, 2026: JS Bank has won the Mobile App Award at the Asian Banking & Finance Fintech Awards 2026, recognising its digital banking application and technological innovation.
The bank’s mobile app offers a range of digital banking services, including JSense, Pakistan’s first in-app AI banking assistant. The feature allows customers to interact with the app conversationally to access information about products, services and discounts.
The app also features Pay in a Blink, a Face ID-based transaction approval service that enables customers to approve transactions without traditional one-time passwords (OTPs). Other services include Raast transfers, QR payments and debit card management.
JS Bank President and CEO Basir Shamsie said the bank has consistently focused on technological innovation to make banking simpler and more convenient for customers.
He highlighted the bank’s previous digital initiatives, including Pakistan’s first WhatsApp Banking service and the JSense AI assistant, saying the award reflects JS Bank’s commitment to innovation in the financial sector.
The Asian Banking & Finance Fintech Awards recognise financial institutions and fintech companies across Asia for achievements in financial technology and digital innovation.
