KARACHI, July 30, 2026: Standard Chartered Pakistan showcased its home financing solutions at EMAAR Pakistan’s Broker Night, strengthening its partnership with the real estate developer and expanding access to mortgage financing for resident and overseas Pakistanis.
The bank engaged with leading real estate brokers and introduced its mortgage products and dedicated support model. It said the initiative will help brokers guide clients in making faster and more informed property investment decisions.
The event builds on Standard Chartered’s long-standing relationship with EMAAR and supports both companies’ efforts to improve access to premium real estate opportunities.
Standard Chartered recently received Euromoney’s Best Bank for Mortgages in Pakistan award, reinforcing its position in the country’s home financing market.
Saadya Riaz, Head of Wealth & Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Pakistan, said brokers play a key role in clients’ property decisions. She added that the bank aims to combine award-winning financing with EMAAR’s premium developments to simplify the home-buying process.
Meanwhile, EMAAR Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Aziz Jindani said Pakistan’s housing finance sector remains underdeveloped relative to the size of the economy. He noted that many young families, both in Pakistan and overseas, can afford mortgages but struggle to access suitable financing. He said Standard Chartered’s home finance facility will help eligible buyers purchase homes in EMAAR’s The Views and Panorama residential towers.
The two companies said their collaboration extends across multiple international markets. By combining EMAAR’s real estate projects with Standard Chartered’s cross-border banking capabilities, they aim to offer a stronger proposition for local and overseas buyers.
Standard Chartered said it remains committed to supporting clients through tailored financing solutions that help them achieve their property ownership and investment goals.
