Arif Habib Warns Investors Over Fake AI Investment Scheme

KARACHI, July 31: Arif Habib Limited (AHL) has warned investors against a fraudulent online campaign falsely claiming the company has launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-based investment platform offering guaranteed weekly returns of up to Rs500,000.

In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday, AHL said a fake news article circulating on online and social media platforms was misusing the names of Arif Habib and the company.

AHL denied any involvement with the alleged platform. It said neither Arif Habib, Arif Habib Limited, nor any company within the Arif Habib Group has launched, endorsed, or is associated with any AI-based investment scheme.

The company described the claims as “false, fabricated, and unauthorized” and said it has no connection with the publication or any website, application, or platform promoting the scheme.

AHL urged investors to remain vigilant and rely only on information released through its official communication channels and the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It also asked the PSX to circulate the notice to help protect investors and raise awareness among market participants.
