The two-day event attracted around 2,500 participants, including new students, parents, faculty members and staff. The gala provided students with an opportunity to become familiar with the campus, connect with their peers and learn more about life at IBA.

Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, welcomed the new students and their families, describing the event as the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their academic journey.

Ms. Maheen Ghauri, Dean Student Success and International Engagement, said OGala 2026 was designed to help students connect with their peers, experience campus life and begin their journey at IBA with confidence.
