KARACHI July 2,2026 : Grow Safe and the Pakistan Engineers Forum (PEF) have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the professional skills and technical competencies of engineers across Pakistan.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly design and deliver training programmes in occupational safety and health (OSH), fire safety, environmental management, technical skills, leadership, and soft skills. The initiative aims to equip Pakistani engineers with internationally recognized knowledge and practical expertise to meet evolving industry demands.
PEF General Secretary Umer Farooq Memon and Grow Safe General Manager Projects Usman Dawood Barry signed the MoU at Grow Safe’s head office in Karachi.
Speaking at the ceremony, PEF representatives praised Grow Safe for promoting industrial safety, technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and international best practices across Pakistan’s industrial sector.
Meanwhile, Grow Safe CEO Saad Abdul Wahab said competent professionals are essential for improving industrial competitiveness and driving sustainable economic growth. He added that closer collaboration between industry and professional bodies will help bridge the gap between academic education and workplace requirements.
The partnership also aims to promote a stronger culture of safety, innovation, and professional excellence across Pakistan’s engineering and industrial sectors.
