Gilgit, August 4, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah during his visit to the region. The governor updated the prime minister on the recent floods, damages caused by rains, progress on development projects, and the law and order situation.
Prayers were offered for those who lost their lives in the floods.
The prime minister was welcomed by Governor Syed Mehdi Shah and Chief Minister Gulbar Khan. Several federal ministers and advisors accompanied him on the visit.
