Toyota Reinforces Commitment to Inclusive Employment at Reverse Career Expo

KARACHI, July 29, 2026: Indus Motor Company (IMC), under its Concern Beyond Cars initiative, strengthened its commitment to workplace diversity by serving as the title sponsor of the Reverse Career Expo 2.0. Organized by ASHREITECH Academy at the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP) in Karachi, the event connected employers with talented persons with disabilities (PWDs) and promoted inclusive hiring.

The expo brought together leading employers, industry representatives, government officials, and disability support organizations to expand equitable employment opportunities.

Unlike traditional job fairs, the Reverse Career Expo placed candidates at the center of the recruitment process. Persons with disabilities showcased their skills, qualifications, and career goals at individual booths, while employers met them directly. As a result, the initiative encouraged skills-based hiring, challenged unconscious bias, and reinforced the principle that ability—not disability—should define employment opportunities.

By supporting the event for the second consecutive year, IMC reaffirmed that diversity, equity, and inclusion remain central to its people strategy. The company said businesses have a key role in removing employment barriers and creating workplaces where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.

Commenting on the initiative, IMC Chief Executive Officer Ali Asghar Jamali said every individual deserves the opportunity to grow and succeed based on talent and potential. He added that supporting initiatives such as the Reverse Career Expo aligns with Toyota’s global vision of “Mobility for All,” which aims to create greater access to opportunity, independence, and a better quality of life.

Furthermore, IMC said diverse teams drive innovation, creativity, and long-term business resilience. Through continued collaboration with industry, academia, and the public sector, the company will keep promoting inclusive hiring practices and expanding access to meaningful employment across Pakistan.
