KARACHI: Renowned thought-leader and banker Sirajuddin Aziz has launched his latest book, In God’s Words, at a ceremony held at Avari Towers.
The book offers a carefully researched, question-and-answer–based exploration of the Holy Qur’an, encouraging readers to engage with the divine text through reflection, context, and deeper understanding.
The launch event was attended by scholars, professionals, and individuals interested in faith, ethics, and contemporary religious discourse. Speakers highlighted that In God’s Words addresses the growing need for thoughtful and structured engagement with religious texts at a time when fragmented interpretations and quick readings have become widespread.
A panel discussion on the book’s key themes was also held during the event. Moderated by Tariq Bin Azad, the panel featured Dr. Syed M. Mehboobul Hasan Bukhari, Prof. Sadia Ansari, Dr. Muhammad Atif Aslam Rao, Irfan Siddiqui, Sirajuddin Aziz, and Mirajuddin Aziz. Speaking on the occasion, Irfan Siddiqui, former CEO of Meezan Bank Limited, congratulated the author and described the book as a timely and valuable contribution.
