KARACHI :May 22,2026:Dow University of Health Sciences has secured the top position among all Medical and Health Sciences universities in Pakistan in the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Annual Validation Report 2024–25 through the outstanding performance of its Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC).
The university achieved the highest overall ORIC score in its category, reaffirming DUHS’s growing stature as a leading institution in research, innovation, and academic excellence. In addition, DUHS ORIC secured a perfect score of 15 out of 15 in Sustainability and Capacity Building and also earned a place among the Top Ten universities in Pakistan for Research Excellence across all academic disciplines.
University officials termed the achievement a reflection of the institution’s strong research culture, progressive vision, and commitment towards sustainable academic growth.
The administration appreciated the efforts of faculty members, researchers, students, and the ORIC team whose dedication and hard work contributed significantly to this success. Special acknowledgment was also given to the Finance and Audit Directorate for its continued support and facilitation.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Nazli Hussain congratulated the entire DUHS family on the achievement and stated that research, innovation, and quality education remain central to the university’s vision. She said DUHS would continue striving for excellence by creating an environment that encourages impactful research, collaboration, and academic leadership at both national and international levels.
