KARACHI June 23, 2026 : Alkhidmat held two-day interview sessions at Idara Noor-e-Haq for its Summer Social Internship Program 2026. Thousands of young applicants participated over the two days, showing strong interest in the program.
In addition, Alkhidmat will run an eight-month internship designed to build skills among youth. It will also give them opportunities to contribute to social welfare projects and community service initiatives.
Moreover, Acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Saifuddin Advocate and Executive Director Rashid Qureshi visited the sessions. Senior Manager Volunteer Management Asad Qureshi and other officials also attended. Students and parents were present in large numbers.
During the visit, Saifuddin Advocate met students and their families. He appreciated their enthusiasm and encouraged them to use their skills for positive social impact.
He said that young people are a valuable asset for the country. Furthermore, he noted that Alkhidmat helps them move from uncertainty toward opportunity through its programs. He added that this initiative plays an important role in shaping a better future.
He also pointed out that many students struggle after matric and intermediate education due to limited job opportunities. However, he said Alkhidmat’s free IT training programs are helping millions across Pakistan. In Karachi, he added, many trained youth have already secured better employment.
Meanwhile, Executive Director Rashid Qureshi said the internship will provide professional training along with social awareness. In addition, he said it will strengthen leadership and teamwork skills. He concluded that the program will connect young talent with meaningful community service.
