KARACHI, July 4,2026: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Centre, in collaboration with Badar Expo Solutions, officially launched the 15th IEEEP Fair 2026 during a soft launch ceremony held in Karachi.
Speaking as the chief guest, Saquib Fayyaz Magoon, Senior Vice President of FPCCI, stressed the need to reduce Pakistan’s reliance on imported technology. Instead, he urged greater investment in local innovation and manufacturing. He also praised the organizers for connecting engineering talent with industry and supporting technology-led industrial growth.
Meanwhile, Shahab Qamar Ansari, Sindh’s Secretary for Energy and the guest of honour, highlighted Sindh’s vast energy potential. He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to supporting the IEEEP Fair and promoting the engineering sector.
Addressing the ceremony, Engr. Muhammad Navid Akram Ansari, Chairman of IEEEP Karachi Centre, said the exhibition remains Pakistan’s largest platform for electrical, electronics and allied engineering industries.
He added that the fair will host more than 200 local and international exhibitors, who will showcase the latest technologies in electrical engineering, electronics, renewable energy and industrial solutions.
Furthermore, the 15th edition will introduce the “Made in Pakistan Excellence Awards.” The awards will recognize companies that manufacture and export Pakistani-made engineering products while encouraging higher quality standards and boosting the country’s global reputation.
Earlier, Zohair Naseer, CEO of Badar Expo Solutions, welcomed guests and said the exhibition will connect manufacturers with buyers, promote innovation and showcase Pakistan’s industrial capabilities to local and international markets.
The ceremony also attracted senior business leaders, engineers, diplomats from the United States and Russia, and representatives of the media.
The IEEEP Fair 2026 will take place from August 18 to 20, 2026, at the Karachi Expo Centre.
