August 13, 2026 — Karachi: Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khichi inaugurated a special exhibition at the National Museum Karachi to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Anniversary.
The exhibition features paintings by young artists that highlight Pakistan’s journey to independence. The artworks also portray the sacrifices of the country’s forefathers and the contributions of leaders of the Pakistan Movement.
Minister Aurangzeb Khichi appreciated the enthusiastic participation of young people, particularly children. He praised the young artists for using their creativity to present important chapters of Pakistan’s history.
The minister also appreciated the National Museum for helping connect the younger generation with the country’s history and national heritage. He said such initiatives allow children to learn about their roots and develop a greater sense of pride in Pakistan’s heritage.
Khichi expressed hope that more exhibitions would be organized in the future to make Pakistan’s rich national heritage accessible to the public.
