Under the Safe Punjab vision, officials confirmed that citizens will now be able to share real-time video evidence of serious incidents directly with the Punjab Safe Cities Authority during emergency situations.

The new feature, called “Connect to PSCA,” has been added to the Safe City public safety application, enabling a direct link between a caller’s mobile camera and the Safe City control room.
Authorities explained that when a citizen calls Emergency Helpline 15, the Safe City officer will instantly send a secure live-feed link, which the caller must open to activate mobile video transmission.
Once the link is opened, the live camera feed from the caller’s phone will appear in the Safe City control room, allowing teams to assess the scene accurately and deploy assistance without delay.
Officials said the system will help police understand threats, monitor crime scenes, verify emergencies, and reach affected areas faster, improving response times across Lahore and other connected districts.
The Safe City mobile integration feature moves Punjab toward a more participatory model of digital policing, enabling citizens to assist law enforcement through direct visual reporting in critical situations.

Safe City officials highlighted that the service is strictly for emergencies involving crime, accidents, violence, or public safety threats, and citizens must avoid sharing unnecessary or irrelevant video content.
The authority urged citizens to keep mobile location settings enabled when using the app, since accurate tracking will help dispatch rescue teams to the correct spot in urgent situations.
