Karachi, October 28, 2025: The Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), in collaboration with Innovista and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), has launched a large-scale training initiative in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity for science graduates across Balochistan.
The program aims to empower 20,000 young people through both online and in-person training sessions held in Sibbi, Turbat, Khuzdar, Panjgur, and Gwadar. Participants will receive hands-on technical training, mentorship, certification, and career counseling to help them enter the digital and freelancing economy.

During a visit to Innovista’s Quetta center, State Minister for Education Wajeeha Qamar emphasized that the government is prioritizing the establishment of new technical and training institutions in Balochistan to strengthen human capital development. “This initiative will enable youth to contribute to Pakistan’s growing knowledge economy,” she said.
Under this partnership, PAFLA and Innovista will offer specialized courses covering AI applications, machine learning, data analytics, and cybersecurity defense strategies. The collaboration also aims to foster a strong freelancing ecosystem, connecting learners with global remote job opportunities and roles in top local IT firms.

PAFLA Chairman Ibrahim Amin stated, “Our mission is to unlock the hidden potential of Pakistan’s youth, especially in regions like Balochistan where digital inclusion is still emerging. Together with Innovista, we aim to turn Balochistan into a hub for tech talent and innovation.”
Innovista CEO Imran Touquir Chaghi added, “Access to quality tech education can transform communities. Through this collaboration, we are equipping Balochistan’s youth — both male and female — with globally in-demand digital skills.”
