Dawlance Begins Exports of Single Tub Washing Machines to Bangladesh

Karachi, August 11, 2025: Dawlance, a leading Pakistani home appliance brand and a subsidiary of global giant Beko, has exported its first batch of Single Tub Washing Machines from Pakistan to Bangladesh.

In the first phase, 180 units have been shipped, with further consignments planned in the coming months. The product was developed based on Dawlance’s deep understanding of the Pakistani market and its expertise in creating locally-relevant solutions that boost household penetration in the laundry category.

Insights from Pakistan were shared with Singer Bangladesh, another Beko subsidiary, where the product was tested and validated for local needs. Following positive feedback, exports were initiated, marking a milestone in cross-market collaboration within the Beko family.

“This is not just about exporting a product; it’s about exporting insight-driven innovation. We’re proud to see a Made-in-Pakistan solution find relevance in another market,” said Umar Ahsan Khan, CEO of Dawlance.

The initiative reflects Dawlance’s broader vision to transform local expertise into globally relevant solutions, strengthen regional trade, and scale exports. By enhancing its production capacity, the company aims to meet growing international demand and contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth through value-added manufacturing.

The Bangladesh export is part of Dawlance’s long-term strategy to expand Pakistan’s manufacturing footprint in the region and explore further opportunities for energy-efficient, high-quality appliances in global markets.
